DUNLIN BYPASS PROJECT (THISTLE, MAGNUS & NORTHERN PRODUCER) – NORTH SEA, UK
The project aim was to combine production from Thistle and Northern producer and thereafter export cut over from Dunlin to Magnus platform. We have provided FEED and Detailed Engineering support for topside mods on Thistle, Magnus and Northern Producer offshore production facilities. Pig Receiver and Launcher Interlock SCU design, Topside operating procedure, pipeline flushing procedure, P&ID, C&Es, Chemical injection pump and tank specifications were the key activities undertaken.
THISTLE LATE LIFE EXPANSION PROJECT – NORTH SEA, UK
Under a late life extension program, the existing facilities were refurbished to recover a further 35 million barrels of oil from the field. It required revamping of the two topside separation trains, and modification to topside Oil export, Flare and drains system along with the implementation of new control and shutdown system. We supported the development of key engineering deliverables to ensure that the asset is re-designed and operated to optimise reservoir recovery at a minimal cost.
HIPS MODIFICATION (NORTHERN PRODUCER) – NORTH SEA, UK
We supported HIPS (High Integrity Protection System) logic modification for the Northern producer flowline and Separator. This is to prevent over-pressurization of the topside separator. The objective was to ensure HIPS to perform effectively, without being required to deactivate it.
